A leak standard is a calibrated simulated leak used to establish and check air leak test outputs.
A leak standard, also called a flow standard, is a calibrated, simulated leak used to ensure reliable outputs from air leak testing equipment.
A calibrated leak standard can be used during test setup to determine leak-test parameters, challenge a system by comparing multiple leak systems to each other, and support other checks.

Leak test standards are devices manufactured to flow air at a specific rate with a specified pressure. They work with the entire Zaxis family of air leak testing products, including Z1, Z5, Z8, the Zaxis 7i, Isaac HD, iKit, and Zaxis PD.
Standards are supplied calibrated in SCCM with a certificate. A standard can be supplied for 0.1 SCCM to 5 SLPM, in a 4” long body with a 0.5” diameter. Accuracy is +/- 1% FS or +/- 0.05 SCCM, whichever is larger. Compatible media include clean, dry air, nitrogen, helium, and CO2; a standard Staubli quick disconnect fitting is supplied, with other fittings available upon request.
