Leak Tester Valves
Zaxis valves and manifolds support sensitive, thermally stable air leak testing.
Zaxis carries valve options for multiple applications, including proprietary Type 2 and Type 3 valves designed for sensitivity, speed and thermal stability.
Pilot air actuates Type 2 and Type 3 valves, reducing heat transfer associated with standard solenoid and poppet valves. Lower heat transfer helps protect test pressure in small sensitive parts.

Zaxis carries a wide variety of valves for multiple applications, including proprietary Type 2 and Type 3 valves for sensitivity, speed and thermal stability.
Zaxis valves and valve manifolds are aseptic and made with high-quality materials for testing medical products. Internal test volume in the test manifold is less than 1 cubic centimeter.
Pilot air actuates Type 2 and Type 3 valves, eliminating much of the heat transfer created by standard solenoid/poppet valves. Heat transferred into a small sensitive part can adversely affect test pressure, causing lower test sensitivity and longer test times.
Valve options by pressure, flow and tester
Valve selection depends on the required maximum PSI, flow in liters per minute at 10 psi, and compatible tester. Type 1, Type 2, Type 3, Type 4 and high-flow configurations address different test setups.

The pressure-versus-time graph illustrates fill-time differences between Type 1H, Type 1L, Type 1X and Type 2A valves while each fills 92 cc and 229 cc of volume at 10 psi.
