Two Configurable eVmP Dispensers in One Enclosure
The eVmP2 is a dual enclosure that configures two eVmP dispensers in one system. It is a programmable, automated electronic variable metering pump arrangement for fluid dispensing and metering, designed around two compatible pump modules rather than a single standalone pump head.
Compatible M-series configurations reach up to 0.10 mL per revolution and 100 mL/min, V-series configurations up to 1.28 mL per revolution and 1,280 mL/min, and VS-series configurations up to 1.28 mL per revolution and 1,920 mL/min. Installed pump equipment determines the applicable range.
The eVmP Smart Pump system uses a valveless ceramic-piston design and touchscreen interface to set fluid-control parameters. Two precision stepper motors adjust pump volume and speed, while stroke rate and displacement are independently controlled for the selected configuration.
The eVmP2 supports Ethernet TCP/IP and RS485 communication, with operational modes for continuous metering, single or multiple dispense, flow direction and suck back. Zaxis provides configurable eVmP solutions through its in-house engineering and development team for automation applications.

How the eVmP Enclosure Dispenses
The enclosure provides the control interface for a compatible eVmP pump head. The valveless cycle uses a piston to move fluid; the compatible head and selected operating program determine the dispensing task.
Aspirate
The piston draws fluid in as the cycle begins.
Rotate and Seal
The piston’s rotation seals the inlet as described for the eVmP valveless pumping principle.
Dispense
The piston dispenses the selected fluid volume through the compatible pump head.
Repeat
The programmed system repeats the cycle for continuous metering or single and multiple dispense operations.
