eVmP1 Benchtop Metering Pump System

Integrated Control for Compatible eVmP Pump Heads

The eVmP1 is a benchtop enclosure for a compatible Zaxis eVmP valveless metering pump configuration. It brings metered dispensing control and operation together in a splashproof stainless-steel enclosure, with an integrated 7-inch capacitive touchscreen for programming and operation.

The enclosure is compatible with M- or V-series stepper or servo drives and M- or V-series pump heads. Compatible configurations cover pump-head displacement up to 1.28 mL per revolution and continuous flow up to 900 mL/min in the stated eVmP1 system specifications; the installed head determines the applicable range.

The eVmP1 supports continuous metering, single or multiple dispense, flow direction and pull-back operation. Its touchscreen can control RPM, forward, reverse, quick-prime, suck-back and additional functions, while stroke rate, displacement and fine adjustment are independently controlled.

For automation and production work, the eVmP1 supports RS485, 24 VDC digital I/O or optional EtherNet/IP communication. The enclosure has an internal power supply for direct connection to a 120V outlet, and Zaxis has supplied electronic metering pumps for more than 25 years from the USA.

Why Choose the eVmP1 Benchtop Enclosure?

The eVmP1 combines a compatible eVmP pump head, drive and operator interface in a benchtop package. The mounted touchscreen rotates nine degrees for viewing and can be mounted externally. Its stainless-steel enclosure is splashproof, and the pump head can be placed on the right or left side.

The compact enclosure is 5.5 inches wide, 15.1 inches high and 13.5 inches deep. Changing a pump head requires removing two screws, helping teams configure the system around the selected M- or V-series pump head. The eVmP1 has a stainless-steel splashproof enclosure, supports right- or left-side pump-head placement and uses an internally mounted power supply. This concentrates the operating interface, power and compatible pump hardware in a benchtop package for controlled dispensing work.

eVmP1 Control and Configuration Benefits

The eVmP1 is for teams that need a benchtop controller and compatible pump in one unit rather than a loose collection of drive, interface and power components. Its control modes, program storage and connection choices let the selected pump configuration serve manual, remote-start and automation workflows.

  • ✓Valveless eVmP pumping design with compatible pump head options.
  • ✓RS485, 24 VDC digital I/O or optional EtherNet/IP communication.
  • ✓Store up to 50 programs on each pump drive.
  • ✓Foot-switch or remote-start operation.
  • ✓Patented electronic adjustment from microliters to milliliters.
  • ✓Independently controlled stroke rate, displacement and fine adjustment.
  • ✓Touchscreen interface with adjustable mount and control of prime, reverse and suck-back.

How the eVmP Enclosure Dispenses

The enclosure provides the control interface for a compatible eVmP pump head. The valveless cycle uses a piston to move fluid; the compatible head and selected operating program determine the dispensing task.

1

Aspirate

The piston draws fluid in as the cycle begins.

2

Rotate and Seal

The piston’s rotation seals the inlet as described for the eVmP valveless pumping principle.

3

Dispense

The piston dispenses the selected fluid volume through the compatible pump head.

4

Repeat

The programmed system repeats the cycle for continuous metering or single and multiple dispense operations.
